Biographical details on Shlomo Shitnovitzer:
Born in Khotyn (Romania), 1916. Served as Betar Youth Commander, Ken Bucharest Commander and active in illegal immigration. From 1945 served as Betar Romania commissioner and Hatzohar (Zionist Revisionists) Deputy Chairman there.
Arrested in 1950 by Intelligence for Zionist activity, sentenced to serve 15 year term at hard labor. 1962 - Immigrated to Israel, becoming member of Herut Movement Center, Likud, Revisionist Movement World Leadership and Betar.
Edited Rumanian periodical "Libertatea", Khotyn Book and book on Betar and the Revisionist Zionist Movement in Romania 1925 - 1950.
Died in 2007.
