Description

Telegram from the Italian Foreign Ministry to the embassies and consulates in London, Paris, Cairo, Bern, Geneva, Rome (Giuseppe Theodoli) and Jerusalem regarding the planned visit of Ze'ev Jabotinsky to Tunisia, 18.02.1932
Report on articles in "Voix du Tunisien" undated - the visit was planned for 17.02.1932 but Ze'ev Jabotinsky did not arrive due to a ban by the French government on boarding at the port of Marseille. News of Jabotinsky's visit caused opposition from the Arab public in France as well as in Tunisia. There was fear of outbreaks of demonstrations and riots in Tunisia. In an advertisement in the "Voix du Tunisien" Ze'ev Jabotinsky is called a "fascist Zionist" who wants to come to Tunisia to promote "criminal theories against Islam".
Address to the Jewish public in French by the Executive Committee of the Tzohar in London, undated.
