June 16: Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff shot to death by 2 Arabs during nighttime walk on Tel Aviv shore. A blood libel ensues - that is thwarted – against members of the Revisionist Movement.

June 29: Shlomo Ben Yosef hanged in Acre Prison, first executed by Mandate Rule. Betar and Etzel member. His heroism becomes symbol for Jewish youth in the homeland and Diaspora.

June 5: Etzel bombs Atlit train station. Warning issued in Hebrew, Arabic and English. Passengers evacuated from station and, concurrently, entry by British police reinforcement is prevented. Train station building destroyed.

June 22: "Altalena", Etzel arms ship, sunk on Tel Aviv shore, by artillery bombardment, ordered by Prime Minister Ben-Gurion, killing 16 Etzel fighters. Etzel Commander Begin prevents civil war.

June 1: Likud National Government established including Gahal , during "waiting" period, prior to outbreak of Six Day War. Gahal ministers include Menachem Begin and Yosef Sapir.

June 7: Liberation and Reunification of Jerusalem. In Six Day War, Tzahal liberates East Jerusalem, under Jordanian rule since the Independence War, including the Old City and the Western Wall.

June 12: Prof. Eri Jabotinsky dies, age 59, only son of Zeev and Joanna Jabotinsky, Natziv Betar Eretz Israel, activist in Af-Al-Pi Immigration, and first Knesset Member from Herut Movement.

June 7: Israeli Air Force bombs Osirak nuclear reactor in Iraq. Prime Minister Menachem Begin, demonstrating leadership and courage, preempts Western response to anticipated threat from Saddam Hussein's rule.

June 30: Yitzhak Shamir, Israel's 7th Prime Minister, dies at age 97. Betar and Etzel member, Lehi Executive member, Knesset Speaker, Foreign Minister. Fulfilled many secret roles to Israel's benefit.
