Lehi operation in Haifa railway workshops as the largest Lehi operation as part of the resistance movement. The goal was destruction of transportation infrastructure of the British, and undermining the security in control of the main artery linking the three continents. Demolition of workshops as third operation according to agreement with resistance movement. Group of selected fighters sent on a mission, with great motivation and determined to carry out the operation despite the great risk. The workshops site surrounded by facilities and British military bases, local police and guarded airport. Operation fully executed and all objects designed to blown up. Yet, during the withdrawal from action, on outskirts of Kiryat-Ata, they took the ambush prepared by the British and awful fire rained down on them.
